About Mary Garthe Associates

Mary Garthe has been producing fashion show events in New England
since 1988. An internationally recognized color specialist and
prominent figure in the New England fashion and home furnishings
industry, she is also the author of Fashion
and Color, published
in four languages.
Since that time Ms. Garthe has served as co-regional director
of Fashion Group International in Boston, a global association
of professionals representing the fashion and design industries.
She also won the Boston Vision Award for Leadership and the Boston
Vision Award for Style Setter, sponsored by Fashion Week Boston,
Banana Republic, Lasell College, and Maverick Media Group. Ms.
Garthe’s reputation in planning and producing events has
brought her such clients as the Copley Place stores, Keds, Laura
Ashley, Sigrid Olsen, The Rockport Company, and the Boston Ballet.
Ms. Garthe’s recent production includes Boston Après
Starck, a high-profile runway show with world-renowned designer
Philippe Starck and student designers, for the French Library and
Cultural Center, and a Canadian couture fashion-show event in the
Boston Public Library courtyard featuring four Canadian designers. |
